Open Justice reports the Supreme Court's dismissed his application to hear an appeal for his murder conviction of Susan Burdett in Auckland in 1992.
Teina Pora wrongly spent two decades in prison for Rewa's crime.
The Court of Appeal decided in February last year to dismiss his challenge of the convictions, finding there was no miscarriage of justice.
The Supreme Court is New Zealand's highest court and the final appeal court.
