The High Court has heard an accusation that Philip Polkinghorne threatened his wife before her death

The High Court has heard an accusation that Philip Polkinghorne threatened his wife before her death

Polkinghorne's accused of murdering Pauline Hanna in the couple's home in 2021.

The defence claims Hanna took her own life.

Hanna's long term friend Pheasant Riordan says Hanna told her that Polkinghorne had put his hands around her throat and threatened her.

Chelsea Daniels has been in court and says that promoted a strong reaction from Riordan, who told the court she and her husband told Hanna to leave Polkinghorne.
