A bad morning on North Island roads - with four deaths in two separate crashes

Police say two people died when a bus and truck collided on State Highway one, near Marton, just before 9am.

And two people have died and another's in a critical condition - after a car and a truck crashed south of Waiouru, about 11am.

Police say a young person has critical injuries, after being ejected from the car.

Police are supporting families and witnesses to the accident.
