    CCN month changed

    CCN month changed

Green Party members are in the throes of debate behind closed doors, about whether to oust a former MP from Parliament.

Now-independent MP Darleen Tana left the party in July, amid a scandal over alleged migrant exploitation at her husband's business.

The Greens' co-leaders are seeking 75 percent support from party delegates, to seal Tana's political fate.

The vote will go ahead - despite an eleventh-hour appeal lodged by Tana against a High Court decision that the party has acted lawfully.

    A decision is expected tonight.
