    Kiwis captain James Fisher-Harris feels an opportunity has been missed, with the hopes of a second NRL team in New Zealand put on ice

    The NRL has sent a confidential letter to all existing bids - including two Christchurch-based proposals - telling them that their submissions were not up to scratch for an expansion.

    Fisher-Harris is disappointed about the move.
