The lengthy trial looking into the death of Christchurch real estate agent Yanfei Bao is seemingly nearing an end

Tingjun Cao's charged with killing Bao following a private property viewing in July last year.

A cross examination by the Crown finished yesterday, with Cao stating he wasn't being allowed to answer questions, while the Crown says he wasn't answering properly.

Cao asked Crown lawyer Pip Currie if she was ashamed at one point, accusing her and police of falsifying evidence.

Currie argued it was Cao doing the falsifying, saying his evidence doesn't make sense.

It's week seven of a six week trial.
