All Black Sevu Reece has admitted a charge of wilful damage, after crashing a car into a garage following a post-Christchurch Cup Day party, last year.

The Crusader's been granted a discharge without conviction.

Rugby Players' Association chief executive, Rob Nicol, says there's a high threshold for high profile people in court.

He says they have to demonstrate a lot to get discharged without conviction.

Reece was granted a discharge without conviction in 2018, after he admitted a single charge of common assault following an incident involving his then-partner.
