The cost of a Kiwi holiday continues to rise

Stats NZ data shows domestic air fares rose nearly 11-percent in November, on the month before.

That's the highest increase since July 2023.

Accommodation within New Zealand also went up nearly seven-percent over the month.

Contrasting with domestic increases, international airfares and accommodation prices decreased by 2.7 and 4.6 percent respectively.
