    An announcement on Liam Lawson taking the Red Bull number two seat in Formula 1 next year appears imminent


    ESPN reports Red Bull have decided Lawson is the man to take over from Sergio Perez.

    The report says Perez's departure will be confirmed this week - or at least prior to Christmas - but he has to decide whether to see out his contract with the team in an ambassadorial role or depart entirely.
