    A man's been charged with murder after a woman's body was found in Auckland overnight


    Police were called to a property on Holly Street, Avondale around 1.30am, where they discovered the woman inside.

    A 35-year-old man has been remanded in custody, and will appear in court on Monday.

    Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the death.

    A scene examination is ongoing.
