History for a rising teenager as Liverpool eased into the fourth round of English football's FA Cup this morning

History for a rising teenager as Liverpool eased into the fourth round of English football's FA Cup this morning

16-year-old Rio Ngumoha became the team's youngest starter in competition history in their 4-nil win over fourth-tier Accrington Stanley.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot says the youngster's impressed since joining the club in September last year.

Fellow Premier League side Brentford have been dumped out - suffering an upset 1-nil defeat to Championship strugglers Plymouth.

Chelsea, Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Leicester, Brighton and Wolves have all safely advanced.
