Alexandra Daddario found "joy and peace" after she became a mother

The 38-year-old actress welcomed her first baby - whose name she has not revealed publicly - with her husband Andrew Form in October last year and has now spoken about how much motherhood has changed her life

She told People: "Motherhood has been wonderful. He's a great baby. He's just brought so much joy and peace in my life, so I recommend it to anyone who wants a kid."

Alexandra revealed the news that she had given birth on Halloween, and took to Instagram to tell her fans the news.

She quipped in the caption: "I thought this was a weird bowl of candy."

'Emily In Paris' star Lily Collins was among those to congratulate the pair on their new arrival.

She gushed in the comments: "Omg congrats!!!!!!!!!"

'Anyone But You' star Sydney Sweeney wrote: "Congrats!!!!!!!!!"

The 'White Lotus' star - who tied the knot with the 52-year-old producer in 2022 - announced her pregnancy in July.

However, the actress also revealed that she previously suffered a miscarriage, describing it as a "very, very painful" experience.

She told Vogue: "I'm pregnant and it's all successful and everything's healthy."

"I had been pregnant. Then I had a loss. It's long and complicated, so I don't want to be too specific.

"Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you've been through them

"I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn't understand fully before.

    "It's very, very painful."

What's more, Alexandra confessed that she had "a lot of complicated feelings" when she found out that she had conceived again.

She added: "It was actually quite hard to process."
