    A nationwide investigation - after Gisborne student got second degree burns - trying to open a school lunch


    It happen at Ilminster Intermediate School - where cottage pies where delivered ready heated. The child was rushed to A&E.

    New Zealand Food Safety deputy director general - Vincent Arbuckle - said they were notified late this afternoon and will be onsite at the lunch heating facility tomorrow,"

    At the request of the Ministry of Education, they will also investigate facilities used by the school lunch programme nationwide - to make sure they are up to scratch.
