American JJ Spaun has the lead at the 54-hole mark in golf's Players Championship

Spaun has carded a two-under third round of 70, to lead by one at 12-under overall from compatriot Bud Cauley, who was the day's big mover with a six-under 66.

Kiwi Ryan Fox 10 back from the lead and in a share of 33rd at two-under after his even-par 72 third round.

Due to forecast poor weather, the teetimes for the final round have been pulled forward - the final group starts at 3am
