Food Safety Minister Andrew Hoggard, is confident he's disclosed all relevant conflicts of interest with Cabinet

Food Safety Minister Andrew Hoggard, is confident he's disclosed all relevant conflicts of interest with Cabinet

RNZ reports he's facing criticism after his sister advised his office against introducing tougher regulation of baby formula - she's the Dairy Companies Association of New Zealand executive director.

Hoggard and other ministers were lobbied by companies opposing transtasman infant formula standards.

A spokesperson from Minister Hoggard's office, says specific conflicts aren't generally released publicly.

They say the fact that a Minister's conflict of interest wasn't published doesn't mean it wasn't disclosed.
