The Canterbury Bulldogs have held off the weather and the South Sydney Rabbitohs to claim a 24-18 NRL win in Sydney

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Late in the first half, lightning and a flash storm forced the match to be suspended for 30 minutes, with the Bulldogs leading 18-nil when play was stopped.

But the Bulldogs did enough to claim their 11th win of the season and move back to the top of the standings.
