Some residents remains isolated, as the flood clean up continues in Nelson Tasman

Some residents remains isolated, as the flood clean up continues in Nelson Tasman

The region remains in a state of emergency, and the wild weather marks the third weekend in a row, of heavy rain.

Civil Defence teams will be visiting properties in flood affected areas today, after slips and trees came down over the roads, cutting off access to some communities.

Emergency Management group controller Roger Ball, says it's still hard to get to some residents.

He says they did a welfare check and delivered supplies to Mara-hau, Tapa-wera and Tad-mor by helicopter yesterday.
