    A driver at the centre of a crash in south Auckland was found - literally - asleep at the wheel


    The allegedly intoxicated man jackknifed his van and trailer in Runciman, just before one this morning.

    Police located methamphetamine and other substances in his van.

    The 55-year-old will appear in the Pukekohe District Court on a raft of driving and drugs charges.
