Positive news from the latest Cancer Control Agency release

The State of Cancer report shows the percent of people surviving cancer five years after diagnosis has risen 10 percent in the past 25 years.

Health Minister Simeon Brown says funding medicine, scans and testing must still be a priority.

He says it's a very important part of his job.

Brown says cancer outcomes have improved, but there is always more work to do.
