Raising money to offer tailored support to young people in distress

Raising money to offer tailored support to young people in distress

The Maia Health Foundation is fundraising for a new child and youth mental health outpatient facility in Christchurch.

CEO Michael Flatman says a new space would allow customising support for a child's specific needs.

He says a purpose-built facility would build in specialised spaces -- such as quiet spaces for children with ADHD.
