    Wellington Phoenix coach Giancarlo Italiano is adamant striker David Ball will stay put with the team for the upcoming A-League football season


    It follows speculation the English forward - who is in the final year of his contract - is looking to depart the club after being told he's not in the team's plans this year.

    Italiano says that's not the case.
