    Police are looking for a man after reports he got into difficulty in the Manawatu River


    Emergency services were called to Ahimate Park in Palmerston North at about 1.30 this afternoon.

    Hato Hone St John responded with an ambulance and a rapid response unit.

    The search is ongoing.
