Police have dismantled a major drug operation in Southland after Customs in Auckland intercepted suspicious crockery

Police have dismantled a major drug operation in Southland after Customs in Auckland intercepted suspicious crockery

More than 30 kilograms of cannabis, and more than two of MDMA, were seized as well as 60-thousand dollars cash - and two Invercargill men arrested.

The operation began when a package declared as dining crockery was found to contain MDMA, pressed into the shape of plates, and painted.
