Khloe Kardashian suffered from "filler blindness" and looked like a "cartoon character" after applying too many filters to her pictures

The Kardashians star, 41, has opened up about her previous love of facial fillers, admitting it made her look odd but she has given up the treatment in recent years and now only has filler applied to a spot on her face where she had a tumour removed so it doesn't look "indented"

During an episode of her Khloe In Wonderland podcast, the TV personality explained: "I've ... done Botox and fillers. I don't love fillers anymore.

"Still love Botox. I do lasers on a monthly basis. Love a fucking laser, skin tightening, anything I'll do for skin tightening. But the only facial surgery I've done is the nose job."

"I noticed my face looking not the way I like it - I would say stranger - when I was doing fillers. I didn't like that look, but I think we had filler blindness for a moment, or some people did."

Khloe went on to talk about editing her social media snaps - admitting she went too far and the alterations made her look like a "cartoon character".

She said: "There was a time that I definitely did [edit every picture]. There was a time that I was around some people that would make me feel like I needed to. I also think it was the era, too. I felt like a lot of people were photoshopping, or heavily photoshopping, more than they do now.

"I do feel like there was a time that we all just got consumed in this filter lifestyle, and we couldn't see ourselves without a filter."

She added: "There was a time that ... I wouldn't dare post a photo without heavily photoshopping. And in hindsight, when I look back at those photos, it's a cartoon character.

"It's humiliating that I thought that was even a version of myself. I feel bad that I thought I needed to look like that."

Khloe insisted editing pictures became quite normal in the entertainment industry and she got used to seeing the new version of herself until she made the decision to "reprogram" her mind.

She said: "I was around people who were all doing that. If they took my photo, they would make me look that way before giving it to me. And then I would think that's how I looked.

"If I got paparazzied [sic[, I'd be like: 'I don't look like that. I look like this photo'. And I really had to reprogram my mind to be like: 'Okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn't real. That's not how I look, and I don't want to look like that.'

    "It was a strange time."

Khloe now takes more pictures so she can choose one she likes instead of editing every single snap.

She added: "[I will take] 500 photos to get one I like ... I definitely have more controlled photos, like [with] good lighting, and I might take a bunch to get the ones I like, but I don't have to photoshop every photo."
