    A woman pinged for excessive kissing on an Air New Zealand flight's been sent to prison


    Open Justice reports Bronte LeLievre was sentenced in the Nelson District Court for offences including performing an indecent act in public.

    It was the second most serious chare of 12 she faced.

    The 33-year-old says she was under the influence of drugs.

    Her indecency charge co-offender, Reuben Finn, was sentenced in September to six months community detention.

    LeLievre was sentenced to two years in prison on all but two charges.

    She can apply for home detention when a suitable address is found.
