Miss Piggy says Sabrina Carpenter was "very intimidated" by her on The Muppet Show

The Muppets icon and the Manchild hitmaker share the spotlight on Disney+ and ABC's revival of the classic show, and Piggy insisted she wasn't fazed by her famous castmate.

She told E! News: "Was I intimidated? If anything, I think you should ask Sabrina if she was intimidated by moi.

"Well, actually, don't ask her that, though. Just take my word for it. She was very intimidated."

Kermit The Frog was quick to step in with some words of praise for Sabrina as he tried to keep things diplomatic.

He added: "What I think Missy Piggy is meaning to say, is that it was great to share the stage with Sabrina, who is an amazing singer and actress."

Piggy sarcastically replied: "Sure, sure, sure, yeah. That's what I meant."

Sabrina will be performing as special guest host alongside Jim Henson's wild and loveable creations in a one-off special this week, which is being treated as a pilot for a potential full return of The Muppet Show.

The Please Please Pleaes pop star has history with Piggy too, having singled her out in a fun segment during the final show of her Short n' Sweet Tour in November 2024.

Earlier this week, diva Piggy insisted she won't be "fighting the charges".

She told ToughPigs: "It's happened before. But yes, in fact I was a VIP guest at Sabrina's concert.

"And the '10 count' for being too hot is still on my record, but I won't be fighting the changes. I mean, look at me!"

The interviewer and Piggy both suggested Kermit The Frog should be telling her how good looking she is.

He quipped: "I do, all the time, I'm contractually obligated to do so."

The star-studded special also has Seth Rogen on board as ex ecutive producer.

The synopsis reads: "Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppets ensemble are back with a brand-new special event. "Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!"
