The country's first research-informed cyberbullying programme is now available

Internet safety organisation, Netsafe, has developed a new programme for students in Years 5-13, with support from the Ministry of Education.
CEO Brent Carey says online harm's costing the country up to one-billion dollars each year, through reduced productivity, as well as impacts on education and employment.
He says they chose this approach -- instead of a phone ban -- since most incidents happen outside school hours.
Brent Carey says it's about raising young people to take responsibility for how they behave online.
