Harry Plummer has been drafted in to start at second five, with Otere Black and Beauden Barrett at 10 and 15.

TJ Faiane drops to the reserves bench, which features the return of All Blacks prop Karl Tu'inukuafe and flanker Blake Gibson.

Finlay Christie starts at halfback in the other change to the run-on side.
