    There've been two serious crashes this evening


    Around 7.15, two vehicles collided on state highway 33 near Tikitere in Rotorua.

    Initial indications are that one person was injured.

    Diversions have taken traffic through Hamurana.

    Further south in Manawatu, also around 7.15, two vehicles have collided on State Highway 1 at Manakau.

    Two people from this crash, between Whakahoro Road and Kuku East Road, are now in Palmerston North Hospital in a serious condition.
