    Police are investigating a quad bike crash on a Wairarapa Beach which seriously injured two people


    Emergency services were called to Lake Ferry around 6:20 last night after reports a vehicle had rolled.

    A helicopter, Police and three Wellington Free Ambulance vehicles attended.

    Both patients were taken to Wellington hospital, one by air and one by road.

    Capital and Coast DHB says one of the patients has since been transferred to Canterbury DHB.
