A police drug raid has put the brakes on the Pink Porsche

A police drug raid has put the brakes on the Pink Porsche

Over the past two days, police have arrested 26 people at the heart of importing the popular pink ecstasy pills.

The National Organised Crime unit has seized more than twenty thousand pills, along with other Class A drugs, illegal firearms, and about ten million in cash and luxury vehicles.

Acting Detective Inspector John Brunton says they've made a major dent in the Auckland drug scene.

He says the pink pills were relatively common, and are well known in the market as the 'Pink Porsche'.
