    Cordons erected after a fleeing driver evaded police in the Bay of Plenty town of Kawerau have been taken down


    The vehicle has been found abandoned in Newell Street but police are still seeking the drive.

    Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to contact Police on 10-5.
