Frustration for some gun owners, over a second buy-back scheme rolling out from February 1st

Frustration for some gun owners, over a second buy-back scheme rolling out from February 1st

The previous buy-back saw 60 thousand weapons handed in, but police say the new one will be much smaller.

Michael Dowling of the Council of Licenced Firearms Owners says it's been expected -- but some members see it as opportunistic.

He says the firearms affected are not those used in the mosque shootings -- so it's stepped beyond what originally started this.
