    Two teenage boys will appear in court today after an Auckland schoolboy was shot in the face in Northcote a week ago


    Police say the 16-year-old will have lasting injuries, including losing sight in one eye.

    A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old will appear in the North Shore Youth Court today.

    They're charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and a firearms charge.

    Police are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
