An organisation representing our major telco companies supports a move for them to be more transparent

An organisation representing our major telco companies supports a move for them to be more transparent

The Commerce Commission last year challenged telcos to provide information and tools for consumer choice.

Now 2degrees, Spark and Vodafone say they'll provide customers annual usage and spending summaries.

New Zealand Telecommunications Forum Chief Executive Geoff Thorn says it'll be beneficial for customers.

He says it will provide people with better information, so they can make choice over whether their current provider is right for them.
