Firefighters are damping down at a transport yard in Southland after a lunchroom fire

Fire and Emergency were called to Cardigan Road in Wyndham just before 5.30am.

A Southern communications spokesman says two crews were sent there and saw smoke coming out of the windows when they arrived.

He says the fire's out, no one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported.
