The 42-year-old who stabbed and seriously injured four people in Dunedin Countdown has pleaded guilty

Luke James Lambert used knives from the Countdown store to attack shoppers and staff in May.

He had left Countdown earlier that day after not having enough money to buy two cans of beer.

The Otago Daily Times reports Lambert has admitted the four charges this morning - via video link in the Dunedin High Court.
