    Houses burgled once - are likely to be targeted again


    Ministry of Justice figures show between 2020-and-2021, repeat burglaries jumped from 40 to 63 percent.

    Criminology Institute Senior Lecturer, Trevor Bradley, says it's a pretty conventional pattern.

    He says burglars wait for household items to be replaced - then go back and take them again.
