    The top stars of the rural sector have been recognised at this year's Dairy Industry Awards


    Will Hinton and Kali Rangiawha from Manawatu were named New Zealand Share Farmers of the Year at a gala dinner in Queenstown's Coronet Peak.

    The judges say the couple impressed them with the strength of their partnership and in the way they balance each other out.

    Northland's Kieran McCahon won Dairy Manager of the year.

    Kirwyn Ellis from Waikato was announced the 2024 New Zealand Dairy Trainee of the Year

    They will share prizes from a pool worth over 200 thousand dollars.
