    Tadej Pogacar remains leader of Giro d'Italia after coming second on 17th stage

    Tadej Pogacar remains the leader of the Giro d'Italia by seven minutes and 42 seconds after coming second on the 159-kilometre 17th stage with another mountain-top finish in the Dolomites


    Georg Steinhauser held on to win the leg by one minute and 24 seconds.

    Laurence Pithie was 118th, subsequent to his Olympic selection, and Dion Smit was 133rd.
