Defending champion Carlos Alcaraz has survived a five set marathon against American Francis Tiafoe to reach the round of 16 at Wimbledon

The Spaniard came back from two sets to one down, winning the fourth in a tiebreak.

Alcaraz admits his form fluctuated.



Meanwhile Lulu Sun has made history in becoming the first New Zealand woman in the Open era to reach the fourth round after beating China's Zhu Lin 7-6 7-6.

Sun will face Emma Raducanu in the round of 16, who's upset ninth seed Maria Sakkari .
