Thousands of jobs are still for the taking - even though openings are consistently declining

Latest Seek figures show job ads were down eight-percent last month -- continuing a trend since February.

Job ads in retail and consumer products are down 18-percent, and down 13 in in hospitality and tourism.

Spokesperson, Rob Clark, says 16-thousand jobs are on the site, but fields like medicine still struggle to find people.

He says there's aren't enough candidates to meet demand.
