Many practices are facing financial struggles, with Government funding not keeping up with economic headwinds.
General Practice New Zealand Chair Dr Bryan Betty says he knows of a number of clinics facing serious pressure.
Dr Betty says GP clinics are a critical part of the health system, and the Government need to invest in their sustainability.
