    The veteran halfback announced he'll retire at the end of the NRL season.

    It will bring an end to a 14-year career in the competition with stints at the NZ Warriors and the Cronulla Sharks.

    Reflecting on Johnson's coveted career, George speaks of the 33-year-old with high regard, saying his contribution has been unmatched.
