Netball New Zealand have explained why they're introducing a new "specialist" coach into the Silver Ferns setup

A third coach - who will focus on attack - should be named by the end of the month, joining Dame Noeline Taurua and assistant Deb Fuller.

Veteran mentor Yvonne Willering and New South Wales Swifts coach Briony Akle are among those to have previously filled temporary specialist roles.

Head of high performance Stephen Hotter says they want someone on a permanent basis.
