Week two of Phillip Polkinghorne's murder trial has wrapped up

Week two of Phillip Polkinghorne's murder trial has wrapped up

The Auckland eye doctor is accused of murdering his wife Pauline Hanna in 2021 -- the defence claims she took her own life.

This week the court's heard from close family and friends of the couple, as well as Hanna herself, through a recording of a dinner-table conversation.

It's also been played Polkinghorne's initial police interview and was presented DNA evidence from the couple's home.

    The trial continues on Monday.
