    A fan favourite has booked his berth in the quarterfinals at the US Tennis Open


    American Frances Tiafoe's secured a four set win over Australian Alexei Popyrin in New York.

    The 20th seed says he's relishing being roared on by a home crowd on centre court at Flushing Meadows.



    Tiafoe advances to a last eight clash against ninth seed Grigor Dimitrov .

    Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz will also meet after their fourth round victories.

    Aryna Sabalenka , Emma Navarro and Paola Badosa are all through to the women's quarterfinals.
