Heartbreak for the Western Springs women, who thought they'd scored a late equaliser in the Kate Sheppard Cup football final

Auckland United were leading 1-nil in injury time... before Springs seemed to have forced extra time, scoring from a scramble after a corner.

But the goal was ruled out for an indiscretion in the box... the Western Springs side also hitting the crossbar deep into stoppage time... Auckland United holding on to win.

Tonight, also at North Harbour Stadium, it's the men's Chatham Cup final, between Wellington Olympic and Auckland City.
