    Police are providing support after four road deaths in two separate central North Island crashes


    Police have confirmed two people died after a bus and truck crashed on State Highway 1 near Marton about 9am yesterday.

    Another two died after a car and truck collided near Waiouru about 11am - a young person was also critically injured after being ejected from the car.

    Police describe both scenes as horrific.
