The murder trial over the death of Christchurch real estate agent Yanfei Bao is entering its second week

The murder trial over the death of Christchurch real estate agent Yanfei Bao is entering its second week

Her alleged murderer, Tingjun Cao is accused of attacking her while she conducted a private property viewing at his request in July last year.

Her body was discovered with stab wounds over a year later.

The trial has been marred by disruptions - last week, Cao disrupted proceedings by accusing a witness of lying, before storming out of court.

Translation arrangements also had to be adjusted the day prior, when he waived his right to attend.

So far the jury has heard from fellow real estate agents, civilians, Bao's husband and her friends.
